Gilda & Pearl - gorgeous new AW13 collection!

I've managed to get a sneak peek at the new Gilda & Pearl collection for Autumn/Winter 2013 and it's as beautiful as I thought it would be! It has my favourite elements - silk satin and eyelash lace - and I have my eye on the brilliantly named "How to marry a millionire" bra and brief set in plum silk satin!

The new collection features some repeated favourites in stunning new colours, as well as some new styles and the whole collection will be launching on the online boutique in September and it will be available in store at Petit Bisous, in London. All items are handmade to order.

There are also some new features on the website such as the 'Get it by the Weekend' section which allows customers to order selected items along with Express Delivery. If an order is placed before midday on a Friday, you can receive the lingerie by the weekend - perfect if you want to plan a naughty weekend with your other half!

Have a swoon over the styles below and check out the full new collection at the online store in September!

Punk Luxe - Legzskin AW13 collection

It's starting to turn chilly which means Autumn's on the way! So what will we be wearing come September? The theme for our Legzskin AW13 collection was Punk Luxe, combining a rugged punk edge with a touch of glamour and sophistication. Below is the original mood board followed by the photoshoot photos.

Will you be wearing Punk Luxe this Autumn?

Olga Logvina - fashion/beauty photographer

I recently met with a great fashion/beauty photographer based here on the French Riviera. Estonian born Olga Logvina worked in London and Paris before moving to the Cote d'Azur a year ago. And given how many Parisien photographers come to this region to do photoshoots, she's now based in a perfect location!

Below are a selection of her recent shots.....

Legzskin - AW13 collection sneak peek

We received some photos back from our photographer, Stephane, who recently did a photoshoot in South Africa. Needless to say the photos are gorgeous and feature some of the new styles from the just-completed AW13 collection......

What do you think of the styles and how would you wear them? And the photography?
Leave a comment, your thoughts are appreciated!

California Dreamin!

Finally spring has sprung here in Europe and as the sun has decided to make a show, time to think about swimwear! I was out in California last October and was checking out the swims and bikinis out there only to discover an amazing Californian swimsuit brand called 1SolSwimwear! The swimwear market can seem a bit saturated at times and it can occasionally feel like it's difficult to find something new and original, but I think this brand achieves it!

Created by designer Jenny Pyle, each collection has a 'pin-up girl' quality about it and definitely a lot of glamour! Check out some of her latest collection below! I'm a fan :)

Visit her website to see the complete range at
You can also follow her on Twitter for new updates!

So which are your favourite styles and which would you wear to the beach this summer?

Vivienne Mok - stunning photography

I like a beautiful photograph as much as the next person and, being a lingerie/swimwear designer, if it features intimate apparel I'm instantly hooked. But I really fell in love with the stunning photographs taken by Paris based fashion and portrait photographer Vivienne Mok and I defy you to not fall in love with her dreamy, romantic pictures too!

See below a select few from what seems to be an entire portfolio of gorgeous photos!

So what do you think of her photographs and which fashion photographers do you love?

Topshop teams up with PETA

Topshop has teamed up with PETA UK for a campaign to 'keep wildlife out of your wardrobe'.
The campaign was launched to promote awareness about the exotic skins trade in fashion, and to send out the message that those skins belong on the original wearer and not in our wardrobes!

 Image: courtesy of PETA

In the exotic-skins industry, snakes are commonly nailed to trees and skinned alive, and alligators and lizards are bludgeoned with hammers. It often takes several agonising hours for the animals to die, usually from shock or dehydration. These days there a so many great, synthetic alternatives to leather, fur and other skins that do we really still need to wear dead animals?

For more info on this campaign, visit PETA's website here.
To sign the pledge against the exotic skins industry visit here.
And visit here to view PETA's Vegan Fashion Awards 2013 where my favourite ethical designer, Stella McCartney, won in the Most Stylish Women's Shoes category. Gorge shoes below.....drool!

So what are your views on using animal skins in the fashion industry?
